Mumbai, Jan 3 (IBNS) Bharat FC launched their three match-kits and announced their entire first-team line-up for the club’s inaugural season in the I-League at an elaborate ceremony on Friday.

Bharat FC announced Nivia as the club’s official apparel partner.

Music composers Ajay-Atul were also present for the kit-launch.

The duo announced that they would be composing the official Bharat FC anthem and will be performing it live at the club’s first game.

Bharat FC will compete in its debut I-League season which kicks off on the 17th of January. Bharat FC will play its first home match at the Balewadi stadium on 24th of January against Dempo SC.

At Friday’s event, Bharat FC unveiled their home, away and third kit, with the players modelling the striking jerseys on the ramp. The home, away and the third kit have been labelled ‘Together, Forever and Triumphant’ in keeping with the club’s motto.

Managing Director of Bharat FC, Amit Kalyani, said that a lot of contemplation and effort had gone into the design and production of the match-kits.

“When we first started designing our jerseys, we did not want to have a run-of-the-mill design. We wanted something that was classy yet sporty. Another thing we concentrated on was selecting the right colours for every kit. A lot of work has gone in to the final design and we are happy with the result. All our three kits are unique, visually striking and very comfortable to wear,” he said.

Kunal Agarwal, Director Bharat FC, said that the club had moved forward in decisive fashion and he was happy that it had managed to assemble a high quality back-room staff.

“We are happy with the fact that we have gone from concept to reality in three months and have assembled a wonderful team. We plan to do a lot for the eco-system of football by providing a lot of nurturing to our young footballers by way of academies, youth development and grass root programs. Work is already underway for our very own state-of-the-art training facility which will be at par with international levels. We sincerely hope that the people of Pune get behind this football revolution that Bharat FC is spearheading," he said.
