Nagpur/IBNS: The Indian cricket board BCCI has unveiled the new jersey of Team India for the 50-over cricket ahead of the One Day International (ODI) series against England.

India will take on England in the first ODI in Nagpur on Thursday.

The new jersey has a touch of tricolour.

Several Indian cricketers including batting icon Virat Kohli and star pacer Mohammad Shami posed wearing the new jersey.

The pictures were shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on X.

India will face England in the first ODI in Nagpur after clinching the five-match T20I series overwhelmingly 4-1.

The series will be a test for India ahead of the Champions Trophy which begins on February 19.

All eyes will be on star batters - captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli - who have been struggling with the willow in recent times.

Even in their Ranji Trophy outings, both the senior players failed miserably fueling the debate over their places in the playing XI.

In an unprecedented scenario, Rohit despite being the captain opted out of the fifth and final against Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy owing to his lean patch as the batter.
