Australian selectors pick up 15-men squad for Bangladesh Test series

Sydney, Sept 14 (IBNS): Cricket Australia has announced a 15 -men Australian squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh.

Selectors have added batsman Cameron Bancroft and fast bowler Andrew Fekete in the squad. If given a chance in the final squad, they will be making their Test debut.

While Steve Smith has been named the skipper of the side,  Adam Voges has been appointed as his deputy for the tour in the Asian nation.

After Michael Clarke retired after Ashes, Bangladesh will be Smith’s first tour as the full-time Test captain.

"For me, winning away from home is something that I’m looking for," Smith was quoted as saying by Cricket Australia website.
