Atletico de Kolkata announces star Indian footballers for the forthcoming ISL

Kolkata, May 15 (IBNS) : Champions of the inaugural edition of Indian Super League, Atlético de Kolkata is keeping the hopes high for the forthcoming season by naming five of new players from the Indian football contingent for the season on Friday.

The list of new dynamic entrants to don the red and white jersey will be Jewel Raja, Sushil Kumar Singh, Syed Rahim Nabi, Nadong Bhutia, Clifford Miranda. To realize their dream of playing a real part in building something special in the football capital of India, Kolkata, the Indian players are going to form the cohesive bond along with the international recruits. Atlético de Kolkata also retained  Denzil Franco ,Mohan Raj Nallapan, Baljit Singh and Arnab Mandal to bolster the already strong line-up from last year.

“At Atlético de Kolkata we have been planning for the forthcoming season for a while now and we are sure that the new crop of players along with the players retained from last year will create a difference in the end results for the team again. Our Head Coach and the management have made some prudent choices which will enable football lovers to enjoy the season to the fullest. The overall experience of the players we have selected today is a rich blend of experience along with diversity in their styles of playing the game," said Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman RP- Sanjiv Goenka Group, Co-owner, Atlético de Kolkata
