Ace footballer PK Banerjee hospitalised in Kolkata, responds to treatment

Kolkata/IBNS: Renowned Indian footballer PK Banerjee, who was admitted in a hospital here on Tuesday, is presently responding to the treatment.

Aged 83 years, Banerjee was suffering from electrolyte imbalance, urinary problem, Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia.

He underwent investigation and is being treated in the hospital by a team of senior doctors.

A multidisciplinary medical board was formed to review his conditions and progress.

The medical board discussed in detail and reviewed his present condition.

"Overall, he seems to be responding to the ongoing treatment," a statement from the board said.
