The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups on Tuesday unveiled the film's second song following the chartbuster Tabaahi.

The romantic track offers a softer, more emotional glimpse into the relationship between Yash's character, Raya, and Tara Sutaria's Rebecca, in stark contrast to the sensual energy of the first song.

The visuals also hint at a complex dynamic involving Kiara Advani's character, suggesting a possible love triangle at the heart of the film.

A multilingual romantic ballad

Composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, and Arslan Nizami, "Madhosh" has been sung by Siddharth Basrur.

The song has been released in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam under different titles, with the Hindi version titled Madhosh.

Fans praise chemistry and visuals

The music video has drawn praise for its lavish production, stylish cinematography, and the on-screen chemistry between Yash and Tara Sutaria.

Fans have also noted brief appearances by Kiara Advani and Nayanthara, adding intrigue to the film's narrative.

While many viewers have appreciated the song's romantic mood and visuals, some on social media have opined that "Tabaahi" remains the stronger track musically.

About the film

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale is one of the most anticipated Indian films in recent years and features an ensemble cast led by Yash.

The film has generated significant buzz for its unique premise, star-studded lineup and stylish promotional material, with fans eagerly awaiting its release.

Shot in Kannada and English, the film will be released in multiple languages on August 26.
