Yash Daasguptaa dissociates himself from his upcoming Bengali film Cheene Baadaam

Kolkata/IBNS: Tollywood actor Yash Daasguptaa Sunday dissociated himself from his upcoming Bengali film Cheene Baadam, just a few days before its release.

Daasguptaa, as he said, has "excused" himself from the about-to-release project due to his "creative differences" with the production house Jarek Entertainment and director Shieladitya Moulik.

"I no longer wish to be associated with the film in any way," he wrote on Twitter.

"However, I've given my heart and soul during the shoot and post production of the film and wouldn't want it to go into waste. I wish the makers all the best," the actor said and added, "If the situation demands, I shall be constrained to disclose the reasons."

Reacting to Daasguptaa's decision, director Moulik told India Blooms, "He is my actor. I have no grudges against him. All I can say is that I don't know the real problem. He cited creative differences but we are hardly doing anything creative thing right now. We are now promoting the film."

"There is no place for creative differences right now. We are clueless about why he disassociated from the film.... My production house has faith in me," he added.

Along with Daasguptaa, actor Ena Saha features in the lead cast of the film.

The promotions for the film, which is slated for Jun 10 release, is in full swing.
