Mumbai, Mar 29 (IBNS): This time's budget showcases a good relief for the blind as the ministry has slashed the import duty on specialized equipment for visually challenged people.
When the young actress learnt about this, she was very glad that this decision was taken.

The reduction in the import duty for Braille paper will lead to an increase in the accessibility and eventually growth of the visually impaired.

The actress will be seen playing the role of a blind girl in her next; opposite Hrithik Roshan.

The actress has already started prepping for it, learning more about the plight of people with no vision.

Yami Gautam shares, "When I learnt about this, I was very glad that the issue was highlighted and I feel that this will surely help in making things easier for the visually impaired."
