Woman arrested outside Taylor Swift's Rhode Island residence

Police have arrested a woman close to the house of international singer Taylor Swift in Rhode Island, media reports said.

According to reports, the incident happened on July 3.

Westerly Police Chief Paul Gingerella told CNN police were dispatched to the front of the home to investigate reports of a trespasser outside the gates.

The woman had been previously warned to stay away from the property, Gingerella said.

Police did not confirm the Westerly home belonged to Swift, but the company listed on property records has the same mailing address as Swift’s management company in Nashville, the American news channel reported.

According to court records, the woman will be arraigned on July 14.

TMZ obtained photos showing the suspect being handcuffed outside the front gate to Taylor's home.

A source familiar with the situation tells TMZ that Taylor was staying at the house during the holiday weekend, though it's unclear if she was actually home at the time of the arrest.
