Mumbai/IBNS: Actress-MP Kangana Ranaut has dropped a cryptic post on social media linking "women-centric films" leaving the netizens running to fetch its deep-rooted meaning.

Kangana wrote in an Instagram story, "When you destroy woman centric films and make sure that they don't work, they don't work, even when you make them. Read that again. Thanks."

The 'Queen' actress' post comes amid a slow start of Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra, a sibling love story, in the box office.

The film has earned Rs. 4.55 crore in Hindi and Telugu versions on the opening day, Sacnilk reported.

Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra features Vedang Raina in the lead.

Jigra is the first film where Alia's production house Eternal Sunshine collaborated with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

The film hit the theatres on October 11.
