Wait is finally over: Trailer of Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha released

Mumbai: Finally the wait ended as the trailer of Aamir Khan's upcoming movie  Laal Singh Chaddha was released on Sunday.

Sharing the trailer, Aamir Khan Productions wrote on Instagram: "Experience the extraordinary journey of #LaalSinghChaddha, a simple man whose heart is filled with love, hope and warmth.#LaalSinghChaddhaTrailer out now! Releasing in cinemas worldwide on 11th Aug."

The trailer of the movie was released during the  first innings of the IPL 2022 finale.

Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Advait Chandan and screenplay written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni.

The film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Paramount Pictures.

Inspired by the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name, the film stars Aamir Khan as the titular character along with Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya (in his Hindi film debut).

The movie is scheduled to hit theatre on Aug 11, ahead of Independence Day celebrations.
