Tollywood film Amazon Obhijaan will hit cinemas on Durga Puja 2017

Previously slated to be a Christmas 2016 release, Amazon Obhijaan has now been rescheduled to much-demanded slot of Puja 2017 release as the film requires time to perfect its visual treats.

However, Shree Venkatesh Films has decided to treat its audience with another sleuth flick this winter with Byomkesh Pawrbo directed by Arindam Sil, scheduled now for a Christmas release.

Rebooting this powerful franchise, director Arindam Sil is all set to come back with action-packed Byomkesh story- starring Abir Chatterjee, Sohini Sarkar, Ritwick Chakraborty , Kaushik Sen, Rajatava Dutta, Sayantika Banerjee, June Maliah and others.

As Byomkesh Pawrbo gets ready to enthrall the audience this Christmas, Amazon Obhijaan has to undergo through multiple stages in its special effects and the CGI of the film is yet to be completed.

Marking the 100th production venture of Shree Venkatesh Films, Amazon Obhijaan is the biggest film of Tollywood till date with the highest budget ever.  

Helmed by Dev in his trademark role of adventurer Shankar, this film will see him exploring the length and breadth of South America, including the vast jungle of Amazon in search of the mysterious land of gold.
