Mumbai, June 4 (IBNS) The Jinx, a HBO miniseries documentary, is all set to premiere in India on June 9 at 10:00 p.m. on HBO Premium Channel, HBO Defined.

The Jinx premieres on June 9, 2015 with the first and second episode back-to-back. This is followed by Episode 3 & 4 on June 10 and Episode 5 & 6 on June 11 at 10:00 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., respectively on HBO Defined, 100% ad free.

The documentary is a 6 episodic miniseries that examines the complicated life of reclusive real estate icon, Robert Durst, the key suspect in a series of unsolved crimes. The series investigates the unsolved 1982 disappearance of Durst's wife Kathie, the 2000 execution-style killing of writer Susan Berman, and the 2001 death and dismemberment of Durst's neighbor Morris Black in Galveston, Texas.

Directed and produced by Andrew Jarecki (who previously directed All Good Things in 2010) and produced and shot by Marc Smerling (the Oscar nominees behind “Capturing the Friedmans”), it documents long-buried information discovered during their seven-year investigation of a series of unsolved crimes.

The Jinx has received widespread critical acclaim and has developed somewhat of a cult following. It is now time for the Indian viewers to watch the groundbreaking miniseries everyone has been talking about worldwide, which is premiering on June 9th on HBO Defined.

"HBO has always aired a diverse genre of shows. This time also the channel brings to its audience a gut-wrenching experience in the form of a documentary miniseries, The Jinx. The makers of the documentary have done a brilliant job", said Monica Tata, Managing Director, HBO India.
