Indian actress Tabu will make a return to Hollywood after 12 years when she will appear in the upcoming Max prequel series Dune: Prophecy.

Titled 'Dune: The Sisterhood' was originally commissioned in 2019.

The series was inspired by a novel titled “Sisterhood of Dune” written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.

Tabu will recur in the role of Sister Francesca, reported Variety.

Tabu's character has been described as “strong, intelligent, and alluring, Sister Francesca leaves a lasting impression in her wake. Once a great love of the Emperor, her return to the palace strains the balance of power in the capital.”

Tabu worked in two Hollywood movies in her career- The Namesake and Life of Pi.

She bagged the prestigious National Film Award for Best Actress twice for her performance in 'Maachis' and ' Chandni Bar'.

Recently, she was seen in the movie Crew where she was paired opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon.
