Suhani Bhatnagar, who played Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan's Dangal, dies at 19

Mumbai/IBNS: Actress Suhani Bhatnagar, who played the role of Babita Phogat in Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's Dangal, died at the age of 19.

Suhani was admitted to Delhi AIIMS where she passed away on February 16.

The news has been confirmed by Aamir's production house.

An X post by the production house reads, "We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away.

"Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts."

As per reports, Suhani had developed complications due to medication following a fracture in her legs.

Suhani became popular after playing the younger version of Babita Phogat in the 2016 film Dangal, where she shared screen space with Aamir Khan.
