Sofia Ashraf makes an 'Adult Movie' to counter CBFC chief's 'intercourse' remark
The short film which has been titled 'Adult Movie', urges all parents to educate their children with the meaning of intercourse rather than avoiding it.
Sofia's short film came after Nihalani's objection to the word 'intercourse' which was heard in one of the mini trailers of the upcoming film 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'.
Nihalani said such a word cannot be used since children below 12 years would ask their parents about its meaning.
Conveying a message to all parents of 36 years or above, Sofia in the short film, said: "If you are a 36 years of age, you probably have a twelve years old child and unlike, what the censor board thinks, your primary duty is not to protect your child from harmful words like intercourse. But, to actually talk to your child about intercourse because whether you like it or not your teenager is going to be talking about intercourse and probably in the near future, having sexual intercourse and if your child gonna be exposed to this world, wouldn't you rather that information came from you because think about it who else is going to talk to your child about intercourse? "
"They are not getting that information from school and Bollywood, sure as hell, isn't telling them anything about it. So, that leaves them with peers and the internet. And, do you really want your child learning about sex from hormone infested teenagers who like to stick their genitals into fruit or, probably porn? No, right? So, parents talk to your children about sex because clearing things up is better than blurring them out!" she added, considering parents as the best option to talk to their children about sex.
The makers of the film Jab Harry Met Sejal released five mini trailers so far. In the second mini trailer, actress Anushka Shrma was seen to tell her co-star Shah Rukh Khan that he would be absolved from any legal charges if both get engaged to intercourse.

After the objection, the controversy escalated when Nihalani said he will clear the word 'intercourse' in the film, if one lakh people votes against the objection made by the censor board.
The CBFC chief told Mirror correspondent that: "If you take the voting from the public, I promise you that I will clear this word in the picture as well as in the promo. I think you should take the voting from the public and get one lakh votes then I will definitely see (understand) that the world has completely changed and India is going to be changed as family thinks their twelve year old children can understand the meaning of this word".

CBFC's objection to Jab Harry Met Sejal has once again raised the debate whether censor board's suggestion is justifiable in a progressive society.
The Imtiaz Ali directed film is slated to release on Aug 4.
Jab Harry Met Sejal is considered as one of the major releases of the year.
