Shreyas Talpade and Wah Taj crew served legal notice

Mumbai, August 10 (IBNS): The makers of upcoming movie 'Wah Taj' have been sent a legal notice for allegedly spreading chaos as well as tarnishing the image of the country, a release stated.

The movie features Shreyas Talpade and Manjari Fadnis in lead roles and is set to release on Sept 23.

In an attempt to draw attention to the plot of the movie, the makers stuck posters around Agra stating, "Taj Closed! Decision on Maharashtra's Tukaram Case. Taj Mahal to be closed for the tourists from 23rd September, 2016 by the Honorable Court's order".

The chaos that ensued led to social activist Madan Mohan Sharma sending a legal notice against Producer Pawan Sharma, Abhinav Verma and Director Ajit Sinha, Actor Shreyas Talpade and Manjari Fadnis for creating a havoc in Agra and spoiling the image of the country.

A case has been registered on Aug 7 at Hariparvat police station.

Talking about the notice Shreyas Talpade siad, "I got to know that there has been a legal notice sent to the makers of the film Wah Taj, but it was just a part of the movie promotions and marketing strategy, I don't understand why it is taken to another level by blowing it up."

The movie stars Shreyas Talpade and Majari Fadnis and is presented by Jayantilal Gada (Pen) of Pen India Ltd.

Directed by Ajit Sinha, the film is produced by Pawan Sharma (Pun films Pvt. Ltd.) , Abhinav Verma (Spyderwave films) and Dhaval Jayantilal Gada (Pen India Ltd.) and co- produced by Gopal Sharma, Naresh Sharma, Amitesh Kumar, Poonam Raikwar, Ravindra Choudhary, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada, Kushal Kantilal Gada & Reshmaa Kadakia.
