Mumbai, Sept 23 (IBNS) Shivangi Mehra, the lead actress of India's first uncut, one-shot and eco-friendly film Pocket Gangsters is a woman with guts. According to Bollywood portal IndyaNewz.com, while shooting a swimming pool sequence at Guwahati one cold, chilly morning, the temperatures were as low as -4 degrees centigrade.

Vijay Raaz, Mukesh Bhatt, Raghubir Yadav and Madhur Mittal were comfortably ensconced in their heated rooms and were reluctant to come down to the shoot venue. However, when director Hemant Nilim Das and producer Vikram M Shah reached the swimming pool set, they were surprised to see Shivangi Mehra in her swimming costume ready for the shot.

Says director Hemant Nilim Das, “As I was walking towards the pool that chilly morning, with my producer, I was about to call Shivangi Mehra on her mobile and tell her that we had decided to postpone the shoot by a few hours, till noon when the temperatures became a bit more bearable. However, we reached the pool as I was dialing her number and was surprised to see Shivangi Mehra waiting for us all ready in her swimming costume and make-up. I asked her if she wanted to wait for a few hours, but she said she was ready to shoot and we continued with the shoot at temperatures well below zero."

PG or Pocket Gangsters – India’s first one-take, one-shot and uncut film is ready to release in over 900+ screens in the country, according to director Hemant Nilim Das. “This is a niche film, not a general purpose masala product. We are still considering about 900 screens as we want to make it available across the length and breadth of India,” Das said.

Dubbed as gangster thriller, the movie has been inspired by true events and takes cine goers on a "mind-boggling journey". It is based on the distressing topic of kidnapping and stars Shivangi Mehra as the female lead. Raghubir Yadav makes a comeback after a long hiatus. He portrays the character of a blind gangster.”

‘Pocket Gangsters’ is directed by Hemant Nilim Das and is produced by Vikram M Shah of Ciemme Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Debanjali Biswas and Shalmali Kholgade have added a new zing and energy to the hostage-drama-cum-comic-thriller film Pocket Gangsters.

The movie stars Madhur Mittal of Slumdog Millionaire and Million Dollar Arms fame and Shivangi Mehra in the lead. Sanjiv Singh is the cinematographer of the film,  story, screenplay and dialogues are by Hemant Nilim Das, music by Lucky – Navi & Chanchal, lyrics are by Hemant Nilim Das & Lucky, while the action directors are Darshan Singh, Raju & Fayaz.
