"Thank you all for trending #13YearsOfShahidKapoor #shanatics you all are beyond awesome. How bout a quick qna session," he tweeted.

He later participated in a question-answer session with his fans.

Born in 1981 to actor Pankaj Kapur and actress-dancer Neelima Azeem, Kapoor made his debut in 2003 with Ishq Vishk and won a Filmfare Award for Best debut male.

Known for his dancing skills, Kapoor started off with romantic and light roles before setting it up with action movies.

After a long stint with several contemporaries, Kapoor finally tied the nuptial knot with Mira Rajput in 2015.

He will soon be seen in Udta Punjab.
