Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' not postponed: Reports

| @indiablooms | Oct 14, 2023, at 03:33 am

Mumbai/IBNS: Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' will give Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan a chance to make a hattrick of blockbusters since his comeback in early 2023 with 'Pathaan'.

After 'Pathaan', his 'Jawan', an action-based socio-political commentary, went on to achieve greater heights in the box office.

Though SRK had promised to bring his third release of the year in Christmas, several reports have recently claimed it may not hit theatres in December when Prabhas' 'Salaar' is also scheduled to be out for the audience.

However, fresh reports claim 'Dunki' will not be postponed and hence the rumours are dumped.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "SRK - ‘DUNKI’ NOT POSTPONED… Yes, #Dunki is arriving on #Christmas2023… #DunkiTeaser releasing soon!"

'Dunki', which is SRK's first collaboration with Hirani, features actress Taapsee Pannu in a lead role.

SRK's 'Zero', which had a dismal run in the box office, clashed with 'KGF (first part) in Christmas 2018.
