Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone scorched the stage with their auras and glamour at the success event of their film 'Jawan', an action-based multilingual socio-political commentary which is scoring huge in the box office.

Apart from dancing to 'Chaleya' and 'Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya', Deepika's kiss on the cheeks of Shah Rukh as she sees him off blew the internet since Friday night.

Even in a post on Instagram, Shah Rukh blushes as Deepika plants a kiss on his cheeks.

In all adoration, Deepika's actor husband Ranveer Singh dropped a comment which happens to be a line from the 'Chaleya' song.

'Jawan', which hit the theatres on September 7, stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead with Sanjay Dutt featuring as a special appearance.

Deepika, one of the busiest actors in the country, was roped in for an extended cameo (Aishwarya Rathod), the wife of the older version of Shah Rukh (Vikram Rathod) in the film.

'Love for Shah Rukh,' says Deepika on working for 'Jawan'

On saying 'yes' to 'Jawan' despite knowing a cameo, Deepika said, "It was two-fold for me. One, everyone knows my love for him. Whatever he wants, I'll always be there. But also the movie is so special that any actor, not just me, would agree to do this film because it was about the vision.

"All of us invested in that vision, it's not about how big or small the role was. So for me, it was the story that we were telling and the impact which was going to have on the lives of this amazing audience."

Deepika made the comment at a press conference organised post success of the big budget project, which is directed by Atlee Kumar.

The actress, who shares a warm relationship with SRK off-screen, said it was "love" between the two that gets reflected in films each time they work together.

"When Shah Rukh and I are working together, we are not co-stars or formal. There's just lots of love and that comes through in our work," Deepika, who was showing his affection towards SRK during the interaction, said.

Deepika, who started her career in 2007 with Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Om Shanti Om', went on to collaborate with the superstar for four more projects including the massively popular 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan', which have scripted SRK's comeback in films.

After her first break in 2007, Deepika collaborated with Shah Rukh in 'Chennai Express' and 'Happy New Year', which have reasonably succeeded in the box office.
