Shabana Azmi shares image of Rama Bhanot on social media

Mumbai, July 21 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi on Sunday shared an image on her Twitter page where she could be spotted with late Rama Bhanot.

Rama Bhanot is the mother of late Neerja Bhanot.

Neerja Bhanot sacrificed her life while saving 359 passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on Sept 5, 1986.

A film was later made on her life. Actress Sonam Kapoor had portrayed the character of Neerja in the movie.

Sharing the image with Rama Bhanot, Shabana Azmi tweeted: "With the late Rama Bhanot whom i had the honour of playing in Neerja."

In the movie, Shabana Azmi had played the character of Neerja's mother.

Shabana Azmi was last seen in the movie  “Sonata”.
