Mumbai: Music label Saregama on Sunday announced that the lyrics of Sunny Leone's latest released music video Madhuban will be changed amid controversy over it.

In a statement, the company said: "In light of the recent feedback & respecting the sentiments of our fellow countrymen, we will be changing the lyrics and the name of the song Madhuban."

"The new song will replace the old one across all platforms over the next 3 days," the music lael announced.

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra earlier asked makers of 'Madhuban' song  to take it down due to 'obscenity'.

Mishra tweeted: "Some heretics are constantly hurting Hindu sentiments. ‘Radhika Nache in Madhuban’ is such a despicable attempt. I am instructing Sunny Leone ji and Sharib Toshi ji to understand and take care. If both of them did not remove the song by apologizing in three days then we will take action against them."

Narottam Mishra also warned action will be taken if no steps are taken by the makers to remove the song.

Sung by Kanika Kapoor and Arindam Chakraborty, the song was released on Wednesday.
