Mumbai, Mar 16 (IBNS) The ambitious Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor, will be a Christmas 2017 release with shooting for the Rajkumar Hirani directorial beginning this September.

The movie will also see Ranbir working with Hirani for the first time, though the actor did have a special appearance as an alien in PK, which released in 2014. He will be back on a film set after a break of almost a year-and-a-half.

While Raju Hirani has already begun work on the project as he held a camera and shot the footage of Sanjay walking out of jail. It’s likely that the footage will make it to the movie.

Now with Sanjay Dutt having been released, it is a possibility that he will be involved in the project and may also share inputs.
