Salman Khan releases first single 'Radio' from Tubelight to a massive response in Dubai

Mumbai, May 16 (IBNS): Superstar Salman Khan on Tuesday unveiled the first song from his forthcoming movie Tubelight.

Called “Radio”, the song has been written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Pritam.

Says Salman Khan, “Dada (Pritam) has a knack for coming up with instantly hummable numbers. From the time I first heard 'Radio', I can't stop humming it. Aap sunenge toh aap bhi gayenge”.

Adds on Director Kabir Khan, “It’s a happy song. The dancing, Salman’s enthusiasm, the entire song will make you happy and definitely get you to dance along. It’s a song for everyone.”

Says Shridhar Subramaniam, President India and Middle East, “Radio as a song has the ability to create an instant liking. Salman is delightful and the cheer around is infectious. Pritam and Amitabh are magical and we are confident that the song along with the spectacular visuals will stay with fans long after the film.”

Sony Music, global music giant, acquired the music rights of Tubelight, their first acquisition with Salman Khan Films.

Music for the film has been composed by Pritam.

Tubelight is an entertaining family drama set in 1962 and tells the story of one man’s unshakeable belief in himself and the love for his family.

Tubelight releases worldwide on June 23.
