The film, which was earlier scheduled to hit the big screens in March, is now slated for May 12 release.

Fatafati stars actors Ritabhari Chakraborty and Abir Chatterjee in the lead.

Excited for the release, Ritabhari shared, "This is my second movie with Aritra and Zinia-di after Brahman Janen Gopon Kommoti and I share a lovely bond with them that I always cherish."

"I am excited about the summer release and I hope people will like our hard work on the big screen," she added.

The film, which stars actor Swastika Dutta in a pivotal role, will be produced under the banner of Windows Production.
