Ranveer Singh returns as Simmba in 'Singham Again'

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh will reprise the role of Inspector Simmba in filmmaker Rohit Shetty's upcoming cop film 'Singham Again', the third installment of the 'Singham' franchise.

The first glimpse of Simmba in 'Singham Again' was dropped by Rohit Shetty on social media.

Sharing the look where Ranveer is seen as a spirited cop, Shetty wrote on Instagram, "Hum sabka favourite!!! The notorious SIMMBA is back!"

Apart from Ranveer, the film stars Ajay Devgn in the lead besides superstars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone and actor Tiger Shroff.

Kareena took to Instagram to share a picture where she is seen standing while a car is up in the air.

Deepika wrote in the post, "Introducing…Shakti Shetty!"

Introducing Tiger, Ranveer had posted, "Meet Special Task Force officer ACP SATYA … the immortal, like Truth! Welcome to the squad… Tiger."

Shetty's four films from the cop universe were 'Singham', 'Singham Returns', 'Simmba' and 'Sooryavanshi'.

The film will hit the theatres on August 15, 2024.
