Ranveer scares off unit members as Alauddin Khilji

Mumbai, May 25 (IBNS): Ranveer Singh always tackles a part with total dedication and commitment.

Playing the menacing Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has meant that he becomes the part- that of a ruthless, heartless, unforgiving conqueror.

His spokesperson said, “ Ranveer is a complete team player, a leader and a dynamic source of energy on the sets. When he gets on set everyone loves interacting with him and laughs and jokes around with him like usual. However once he gets into his Khilji look in costume and make up and is ready to go on set, people almost stay away from him unless needed and things quieten down as he is so compelling in his character when he slips into the skin of Alauddin Khilji. It’s not easy, becoming so intense every day.”

When Ranveer played the ambitious, all heart warrior hero in Bajirao Mastani, he cracked a complex historical character with aplomb.

Now with Alauddin Khilji, he seems to be set to portray an unmatched super villain in Hindi cinema, thus cementing his status as the most versatile actor of his generation.
