Rani all set to play tough cop in 'Mardaani'

Mumbai, June 24 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji, who has bagged several accolades for her acting skills, is all set win over the hearts of her fans by playing a tough cop in her upcoming film 'Mardaani'.
Even the description of the trailer on YouTube reads - "Bold. Strong. Fearless. Watch Rani Mukerji in YRF's boldest movie ever, Mardaani."
 
The actress not only means serious business in the film but also appears to have done a lot of action sequences in the same.
 
Produced by husband Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films (YRF) banner, Rani seems to be the "hero" of the film 'Mardaani.'
 
Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, Rani plays the role of Shivani Shivaji Roy, an officer of the Mumbai Crime Branch unit.
 
The movie, which is based on child trafficking, is slated to release on Aug 22.
