Mumbai/IBNS: Soon after Alia Bhatt shared photos from her grand wedding on Thursday, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor's ex-girlfriend, was one of the first to react.

After the wedding, Alia shared pictures from the ceremony on her Instagram. In the comments thread, Katrina Kaif wrote: "Congratulations to both of u. All the love and happiness."

Putting rest to all speculations, the most awaited wedding took place in Mumbai on Thursday with actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tying the nuptial knot in their 'favourite spot' and amidst the presence of their friends and family members.

Both Ranbir and Alia looked ethereal in paired white ensembles. While Alia donned a white saree, Ranbir complemented her in a white sherwani.

The power couple dated for five years and will be soon seen pairing onscreen in Ayan Mukerji's upcoming film Brahmastra.

The couple's mehendi ceremony was attended by relatives and close friends including filmmaker Karan Johar on Wednesday.
