Ranbir-Alia starrer Brahmastra's motion poster unveiled, film set to hit theaters on Sept 9 next year

Mumbai/IBNS: Ending a long wait for the fans, the makers of the highly anticipated film 'Brahmastra' unveiled the motion poster of the same with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt at a live event in Delhi on Wednesday.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor plays the protagonist Shiva who identifies his superpower and sets on a journey to save the universe from Brahmastra.

During the poster launch event, director Ayan Mukerji said that the team wanted the fans to be a part of the film so they opted for a fan event.

Brahmastra is a fantasy trilogy produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Alia Bhatt plays the role of Shiva's love interest in the film.

Sharing the motion poster on Instagram, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, who is also a part of the film, wrote: "Get ready! The date is set! Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is coming on 09.09.2022."

Ahead of the poster's launch event, Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji sought blessings at a Gurdwara in the national capital.

Bhatt and her actor boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor, will be seen together for the first time in this film.
