Ramleela makes Rajkumar nostalgic in Lucknow

Mumbai, Oct 17 (IBNS): Buzz is Rajkumar Rao is shooting in Lucknow for his upcoming movie Bareily Ki Barfi.

The actor who has shot for various films in different cities is quite an explorer and loves travelling to places on his feet as and when he gets time.

While Rajkumar was exploring Lucknow he got a chance to attend the local Ramleela play at Aishbagh that was happening in the city as Dusshera was around the corner.

The National award - winner actor who belongs to a theatre background enjoys catching up for plays, and Ramleela being the oldest and traditional form of play, it was a delight for the actor to witness the drama live.

The actor who is fond of watching various kinds of plays, loved the performances of the characters who delivered a great show for the audiences.

Rajkumar is an outsider who has made a mark in the industry by his acting prowess, is a performance- oriented actor and he strongly feels attending such plays is a part of his learning process and adds to his skills too.

Rajkumar Rao says, "I went there in little disguise as I wanted to feel the real experience amidst the local people, to listen to their conversation and to feel the vibe. I spent almost an hour there but the moment people started recognising, I had to immediately leave as I didn't want to disturb the show. This whole experience was quite nostalgic for me. Back in time in Gurgaon all the kids in my house used to go for Ramleela with my grandmaa and my first ever stage performance was in Ramleela only when I was in class 1."

The actor who has portrayed different characters and has time and again impressed the audiences is surely set to surprise us this time too in Bareily Ki Barfi.
