Raees nears Rs. 100 cr, SRK to throw grand party

Mumbai, Jan 30 (IBNS): To celebrate the success of his latest film Raees, which is racing towards Rs. 100 crore mark, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to throw a grand party on Monday.

"It's time for celebration... SRK and Team #Raees to host a grand party tonight [Mon], celebrating the success of the film," Bollywood movie critic Taran Adarsh's tweet read.

The movie, touted as Shah Rukh's best in recent years, has raked up Rs. 93.24 crore in the five days.

"#Raees Wed 20.42 cr, Thu 26.30 cr, Fri 13.11 cr, Sat 15.61 cr, Sun 17.80 cr. Total: ₹ 93.24 cr. India biz... Weekdays are crucial!" Adarsh tweeted.

The movie has also done well in overseas box office.

Raees stars Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui alongside Shah Rukh.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the movie released on Jan 25.
