Mumbai, May 26 (IBNS): Makers of upcoming Bollywood movie Raabta have denied that the film is a copy 2009 Telugu film Magadheera.

Raabta is also dealing with the theme of reincarnation.

Meanwhile, the makers of the southern movie recently approached the Hyderabad court and sought injunction against the release of the Bollywood movie featuring actors Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput.

Magadheera producer Allu Arvind was quoted as saying in statement as reported The Indian Express, "This is to inform to the large public that we, Geetha Arts the original makers of ‘Magadheeraa’ felt through various sources including the trailer and publicity material that the Hindi film ‘Raabta’ is being remade violating the copyrights.”

Meanwhile, Raabta makers have denied the charges made against the movie.

In a statement, Raabta makers said: "We would like to, however, categorically reject even the remotest of suggestions that our film is a copy of Magadhreera."

Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Bhushan Kumar and Homi Adajania the film is set to release on June 9.
