Priyanka wins Best Actress Drama Award for 'Mary Kom' at Stardust

Mumbai, Dec 17 (IBNS): Bollywood's gorgeous leading lady Priyanka Chopra enthralled audiences with her gritty performance as Indian Boxer and Olympic Bronze medalist MC Mary Kom in her film 'Mary Kom' The actress garnered raving reviews for her outstanding portrayal of the character. She has now won the award in the Best Actress Drama category for the same.

At the event, Priyanka was evidently dressed to kill. “Mary Kom is a very important film. I have worked very hard for it and to receive this award for the film is a special moment. I want to thank Stardust awards for recognizing my hard work and honoring it,” said the actress.

Commenting on the win, Ajit Andhare – COO, Viacom18 Motion Pictures said, “After Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’s dream run at the awards season last year, we are delighted to see the ladies finish first now.
