Kolkata, June 28 (IBNS) In another feat of Bengali films reaching out to Indian diaspora in abroad, Shiboprosad Mukhopadhyay-Nandita Roy directorial venture Praktan will now be released in Germany. It is already being screened in theatres across US.

"One month after it's release here, we will now be releasing Praktan in Germany in first week of July in select theatres attended by the Indians there. The film will also be shown in conference of Bengalis in US for which principal characters Ritudi [Rituparna Sengupta] and Prosenjit Chatterjee will be visiting," director Shiboprosad says.

Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee says more than the success of one film, Praktan brings the 'feel good effect' in Bengali film industry which is smaller in size.

Says Rituparna: "Many of my friends in States have communicated to me where they gushed over the film's content and our pair again re-appearing together after so many years. Praktan will be one of the highlights of Bango Sammelan."
