Los Angeles/IBNS: Prime Video’s new OTT series Off Campus, an American college romance drama based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling novels, has created a storm online, largely due to its college romance vibes and the chemistry between its lead pair.

The show stars Ella Bright, Belmont Cameli, Mika Abdalla and Jalen Thomas Brooks.

Garrett-Hannah romance wins hearts

Among the various talking points surrounding the series, viewers have especially praised the onscreen romance between Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells, played by Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright respectively.

Their emotional chemistry and steamy romantic scenes have become a major attraction for fans of the show.

Ella Bright addresses age-gap concerns

Amid the popularity of the pairing, Ella Bright has responded to discussions surrounding the 10-year age gap between her and Belmont Cameli.

Ella, 19, shares several intimate scenes with 28-year-old Belmont, who portrays the charming captain of Briar University’s hockey team.

Speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Ella said, as quoted by Deadline, “I get people’s concern, but also not once did I feel, one, left out from being younger than everybody.”

“We're all such a family, and everyone was just more than perfect, and I couldn't be more comfortable on this set with these people,” she added.

‘I Fell In Love With Hannah Immediately’

Ella said she was fully aware of the demands of the role before signing the project.

“I came into this job, and during the chemistry reads, with more than enough information, knowledge and understanding of what this role and the show required,” she said.

“And I just fell in love with Hannah and these scripts immediately. There was never a question that I wouldn't want to do this.”

The romance at the heart of Off Campus

The romance between Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham forms the emotional core of Off Campus — blending fake dating, emotional vulnerability and college romance drama.

Hannah is portrayed as a talented but shy music student at Briar University, while Garrett is the confident captain of the college hockey team struggling academically.

To help Garrett pass philosophy, Hannah agrees to tutor him, while Garrett pretends to be her boyfriend to make her crush jealous.

What begins as a deal gradually develops into genuine affection, becoming one of the most talked-about relationships on OTT this year.
