Monami Ghosh unveils first look of Puja musical film Kolki under new banner

Kolkata/IBNS: Bengali actress-singer Monami Ghosh has launched her production house, Vitamin M Entertainment, and music label, M Music, last month.

The two names were first used in her earlier Puja release music video Ailo Uma Barite.

The formal announcement of the ventures came a few weeks ago.

Ghosh has also released the first look of her upcoming musical film Kolki, the Puja season, directed by Saikat Baruri. She had recently shared a teaser titled Neel Alta, which prompted speculation about the project.

Unlike her previous music videos, Kolki has been conceived as a musical film and is scheduled for release during Durga Puja.

Speaking at the launch, Monami and Saikat said, "The music in this film is not just a puja song or just a dance track; it’s something far more universal, something to be cherished all year round.

"After the teaser drops, you’ll understand better; but today, with the first look out, all I can say is there’s a storm coming. Even the name hints at it."
