Mumbai, July 14 (IBNS): In the newly released poster of Mohenjo Daro, Hrithik Roshan is seen in an action mode fighting his opponents.
Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro has been in the news ever since its trailer was released.

While the trailer showed glimpses of the romance brewing between Hrithik and co-star Pooja Hegde, the action sequences also proved to be the talking point.

Mohenjo Daro's theatrical trailer showcases Hrithik Roshan perform some breathtaking action.

The film, which is touted to be an action-romance set in the pre-historic era, has a lot of sequences of hand to hand combat instead of VFX generated Action.

Hollywood stunt co-coordinator Glenn Boswell, who has worked on films like Titanic, The Matrix and “The Hobbit”, choreographed action sequences in Mohenjo Daro.

Boswell and his team worked with Indian stunt director Amar Shetty for the Ashutosh Gowariker-directed movie.

The entire team, put in a lot of effort in practicing and perfecting action moves for the film.

Hrithik, who has been largely loved in the action avatar among his fans, will be seen performing some thrilling action in Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro too.

There was a lot of demand for an action poster specifically from exhibitors and theatre owners in B and C towns and this poster perfectly satisfies the demand.

In his film Agneepath, Hrithik won a lot of praise and appreciation for his action. Same with his last release Bang Bang, where he was seen doing a lot of stylised action which collected 160 crores net in India.

Mohenjo Daro's trailer released and proved to be a visual spectacle, rising anticipation levels of the audience.

There is a lot of excitement among fans for this release as Hrithik returns on the silver screen after a gap of two years.

Amrita Pandey, VP - Studios, Disney India, confirms the news and adds, "The action in the promos of Mohenjo Daro is being loved across big and small towns. Exhibitors from smaller centres in fact have been asking us for more action visuals from the movie. The movie, on one hand is Hrithik on the big screen after 2 years and showcases him in a never before seen avatar; on the other it marks the return of the successful combination of Ashutosh Gowariker - Hrithik Roshan- UTV - A R Rahman after Jodhaa Akbar. These factors have added to the movie's appeal across centres. In fact we plan to now bring out some footage from the never seen before climax scenes in the movie."

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, writer-director of the Oscar-Nominated Lagaan, Mohenjo Daro  stars Hrithik Roshan and introduces Pooja Hegde along with Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh.

Presented by UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Sunita Gowariker, the film will release worldwide on August 12.
