Mithun Chakraborty's Shontaan: First song Thakur Thakbe Kotokkhon unveiled

Kolkata/IBNS: Thakur Thakbe Kotokkhon, the first song from veteran Indian actor Mithun Chakraborty starrer upcoming Bengali film Shontaan, was unveiled by the makers on Saturday.

The song is composed by Jeet Gannguli. Sung by Amit Kumar alongside Jeet Gannguli himself, this track captures the essence of joy, togetherness, and the festive spirit.

The music video portrays moments of celebration, harmony and devotion, offering a glimpse into the film's vibrant and emotional core.

The film, which is directed by Raj Chakraborty and produced by SVF, is set against a backdrop of familial love, moral dilemmas, and the strength of intergenerational bonds.

Apart from Mithun Chakraborty, the ensemble cast includes Ritwick Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly, alongside Anashua Majumdar, Kharaj Mukherjee, Sohini Sengupta, and Ahona Dutta.

The film is a soulful journey through the unspoken bonds that hold families together—especially in a world where traditional values meet the challenges of modern-day life.

The film is scheduled to be released on December 20.
