Mayurakshi wins Best Feature Film Award in Singapore South Asian International Film Festival

Kolkata, Oct 15 (IBNS): Bengali movie "Mayurakshi", which featured actors Prosenjit Chatterjee and Soumitra Chatterjee, has grabbed the Best Feature Film Award at the second edition of the Singapore South Asian International Film Festival.

The movie is directed by Atanu Ghosh.

Director Ghosh expressed his happiness over the achievement and said: "What a show! More for #Mayurakshi -#BestFilm #BestScreenplay at @sgsaiff. Honoured, humbled.Such illustrious jury - the maestro Girish Kasaravalli,Golden Globe winning director Siddiq Barmak,Oscar winning producer Marc Baschet,film curator Golda Sellam & others @FriendsCommKol."

Mayurakshi released in 2017.
