Mary Kom ready to knock audience out: Priyanka Chopra starrer trailer out
The power packed trailer showcases Mary Kom’s journey starting from her first pair of gloves found at a plane crash site to becoming a five time World Boxing Champion and the only Indian woman boxer to have qualified and won a bronze in the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Most champions make their name, but she made history. Based on the true story of Mary Kom, the trailer depicts Mary Kom’s life beautifully including moments of her struggle where she gave up boxing to enjoy motherhood.
Even though the world forgot the boxer’s accomplishments, Mary Kom could not forget her passion for boxing. With the support of her husband Mary Kom was able to reignite her zeal and got back to the ring in spite of being a mother to 2 kids.
The trailer was launched at a popular suburban multiplex amidst a packed house by Priyanka Chopra along with Director Omung Kumar, Producers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the COO of Viacom18 Motion Pictures - Ajit Andhare.
