'Margarita With a Straw' trailer launched

Mumbai, Mar 5 (IBNS) After the fantastic reception of 'Margarita With a Straw' across international film festivals, it’s now time for India to roll out the red carpet for the touching tale.

Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Ishan Talkies, Jakhotia Group, Kool Homes and ADAPT, the film will hit Indian theatres on Apr 17.

The India trailer and poster of the film celebrated the world over, was launched recently at the hands of the Indian Film Industry’s thinking star Aamir Khan. A connoisseur of good cinema, the perfectionist actor has watched and praised the film to great lengths. In fact, he was the one who offered to launch the trailer of Margarita, With A Straw along with its critically acclaimed director Shonali Bose and veteran actor Kalki Koechlin as a token of his appreciation.

An overwhelmed Director Shonali Bose said, “I was over the moon with Aamir’s enthusiastic and excited response when he watched the film a few months ago. It’s so generous and great of him to launch the trailer as a show of his support for the film."

On the release of the multi-accolade winning film in India, Group CEO Viacom18 Media Pvt.
