Madhuri Dixit celebrates 29 years of 'Saajan' with special tweet

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit Nene took to social media on Sunday to celebrate 29 years of the hit blockbuster film 'Saajan.'

Sharing an image, the actor tweeted: "After reading the script of this film, I instantly decided to be a part of it. The story was romantic, the dialogues were poetic and the music was brilliant!"

The 1991 film, directed by  Lawrence D'Souza, also starred  Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan, with Kader Khan, Reema Lagoo and Laxmikant Berde in supporting roles.

'Saajan' became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 1991.

Madhuri, who started her career with 'Abodh' 1984, was highly appreciated for her performance in 'Saajan'.
