Goa/IBNS: Indian singer Lucky Ali caught the attention of the Internet on Sunday after a video of his impromptu singing in Goa went viral on social media.

In the video, Ali, who is now 62, can be heard singing one of his popular songs O Sanam, turning many nostalgic.

Sharing the video, actor Nafisa Ali Sodhi said, "Lucky Ali at Arambol in North Goa after listening to the musical evening was requested for a song and he sang impromptu for all present. Was a lovely setting."

Retweeting the video, businessman Anand Mahindra said, "This scene conjures up huge nostalgia for boomers like me. Not just about Lucky Ali who’s from the same vintage, but memories of small, impromptu gatherings in the 70’; full of music, camaraderie, idealism & hopes for a better world. We’re still waiting for that world..."

Lucky Ali, who was known for his soulful voice, had gained popularity for his Indipop during the 1990s.

His career was launched with the album Sunoh which comprised the song O Sanam.

Ali made his Bollywood debut with the song Nasha Nasha in Dushman Duniya Ka and later went on to sing iconic Ek Pal Ka Jeena and Na Tum Jaano Na Hum from Hrithik Roshan's Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai.

However, Ali has stayed away from limelight for years now.
