La La Land shines at Golden Globe Awards

Los Angeles, Jan 9 (IBNS): Winning seven prizes, Hollywood movie La La Land shined at the Golden Globe Awards.

The film received the awards in several categories which include best musical or comedy film, best director, screenplay, score and song.

La La Land is a 2016 American romantic musical comedy-drama film written and directed by Damien Chazelle and starring Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, John Legend and Rosemarie DeWitt.

Moonlight clinched the  best drama film award.

The official Twitter handle of the La La Land tweeted: "The city of stars has never shined so brightly. Congrats #LALALAND on 7 #GoldenGlobes wins including Best Picture! http://lions.gt/lalalandtickets ."
