Lucknow/IBNS: Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor's fifth COVID-19 test report came negative on Saturday.

However, she will have to stay at PGI Hospital in Lucknow until one more test result comes as negative.

Kapoor, who is known for singing tracks like, 'Baby Doll' and 'Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan', was on Mar 20 tested positive for Coronavirus.

Kapoor had courted a row by attending a party in Lucknow after coming from abroad instead of isolating herself for 14 days.

However, the singer had said she was not advised by the airport authorities to self-isolate herself after returning to the country.

Later a police complaint was filed against her at Sarojini Nagar police station on charges of negligence.

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and her son and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Dushyant Singh, who were with Kapoor at the Lucknow party, had to self-isolate themselves after the singer was tested positive.

However, both were tested negative.
