Irrfan starrer Angrezi Medium's trailer shows a father's struggle for his daughter

Mumbai/IBNS: Upcoming Hindi film Angrezi Medium's trailer, which was released by the makers on Thursday, solely portrays the struggle of a father, played by actor Irrfan Khan, for his daughter's education.

The trailer, which runs for 2:55 minutes, begins with Irrfan lauding his daughter in a much weak English.

The trailer then shows Irrfan's onscreen daughter (Radhika Madan) expresses her wish to study in London in front of her father. Though her father initially does not entertain the wish, later he is seen trying everything in life to fulfill his daughter's wish.

Apart from Irrfan and Madan, the film stars actress Kareena Kapoor Khan in a cop's role.

Following the release of the trailer, Irrfan tweeted, "Inside I am very emotional, outside I am very happy! Presenting the official trailer of #AngreziMedium: http://bit.ly/AngreziMediumTrailer… In cinemas on 20th March 2020 "

The film has been directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios.

Angrezi Medium is slated to release on Mar 20.
