Irrfan Khan starrers top list of most successful non-traditional films

Mumbai, Nov 2 (IBNS): Irrfan Khan known for choosing unique and unconventional roles continues to capture audience attention internationally as well with his stellar performances. The versatile actor has proved that even parallel cinema is as commercially viable as a typical Bollywood film. Over the past years, three of the top 5 grossing non commercial, critically acclaimed films have starred the actor.
According to popular trade portal Box Office India, his latest successful film ‘Talvar’ currently leads the list with an approximate earning of over 30 crore in 4 weeks, followed by ‘The Lunchbox’ at number three with 20.85cr and ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ at number four with a total collection of 14.61crore at the box office. These figures prove that Irrfan’s unconventional films have been loved by audience and critics alike. 
 
Irrfan has Hollywood film ‘Inferno’ with Tom Hanks next year along with Japanese TV Series entitled The Tokyo Trials.
