An Australian photographer has accused singing sensation Taylor Swift's father Scott Swift of punching him on Tuesday.

Photographer Ben McDonald, 51, told CNN he learned the singer was aboard a yacht in Sydney Harbor following her final show in the city on Monday night.

He told the American news channel that when Swift got off the boat, a security guard forced an umbrella into his face and camera, before he was punched by the star’s 71-year-old father.

A spokesperson of the singer claimed two people behaved aggressively towards them.

“Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water,” read the statement issued by Taylor Swift's spokesperson as quoted by CNN.

Eras Tour

Taylor Swift was visiting Australia to perform in concerts as part of her popular Eras Tour.

She performed in seven shows in Melbourne and Sydney over two weeks.

More than 600,000 tickets were sold to her seven shows in Melbourne and Sydney, including three sold-out shows at the MCG with record audiences of 96,000 fans a night, reported news.com.au.

She has departed Australia and now her next destination is Singapore where she will perform as a part of her Eras Tour.

Her first show in Singapore will take place on March 2.
